Darrell Thompson is a tennis pro at Ridgewood Country Club and a former Baylor University instructor who grew up across Southeast Asia in a military family. He’s completed over 25 marathons and six 100-mile races, holds culinary training from schools in New Orleans, San Francisco and Waco. He curates a 700-bottle wine collection and serves as Ridgewood’s liaison for wine events. He lives in Waco with his wife Tracy, their dachshund Oscar, two stepchildren and a grandson.
